Rargh rargh rargh... and on she goes.

Possibly got an internship working in Japan this summer yipppeeeee! This is a big thing for me. Mainly because there was so much competition for the places, but also because I really needed a goal to aim for, and I feel a lot more purposeful about my work now.

creatures that scare me:

  1. cockroaches
  2. worms
  3. slow worms (theyre so albino looking and freaky)
  4. the creature under my bed
  5. crows
  6. pidgeons (actually thats more of a dislike rather than a fear, but they do carry hundreds of diseases... bleugrgh!!)

Argh my course is INSANE. As always I am having severe questions as to why Im doing it. Hopefully it doesnt get too much harder...its just non stop everyday 24/7, and even though I love it, Im feeling a bit apathetic towards it at the mo.

Ive been eating out way too much recently. Tomorrow is no exception - all you can eat chinese buffet! sweetness.

Not at all used to all this wonderful male attention I have been recieving recently... Not at all used to it. Its nice, but I am so preoccupied thinking about the bizarrenes of it that I havent really been able to focus on just enjoying it!

Miscellaneous:

Things I like which are black:

  1. my diary
  2. opal negra
  3. my dinnerware which is black and glossy, sort of like laquerware.
  4. my military beatles-equse vintage type jacket
  5. black biros. theyre the best.
  6. big fat black marker pens too actually.
  7. there is no number seven

I feel a bit like Im in a movie. Normally this would be fantastic, but for some reason it feels a bit wierd. Had an awesome night last night - my friends' 21st birthday celebrated with a ceilidh! So much fun. Lots of fabulous people there, as well as a few ghosts from the past... People I was really not expecting to be there...! And plenty of new people to meet. Lots of lovely gentlemen... One of them, Matt, who I spent most of the evening with, asked me if I liked to dance. So I said that I did a little bit of salsa - which is true. However, he took me to mean that I did it regularly like him. Which is not true! Turned out he has been doing it several times a week for 4 years - ie he is a very good dancer! So there was I making an arse out of myself! He taught me a few new moves which proved fairly hilarious, and I even got to do that one where the woman bends right backwards over the mans arm. I thought he was going to drop me the first time we did it but it was so much fun!

At the end of the night, he and 2 other guys wanted my number, but then I found out Matt has a girlfriend... whats that all about? Why would he try and get me emotionally involved when theres no chance? Thats just mean. And not at all consistent with his 'mr nice guy image' (believe me I know a faker when I see one.)  However his friend is quite Hugh Grantish - very cute. Maybe a better option. Men are confusing.

Happy valentines day... hope everyone got loads and loads of cards and chocolates and roses or whatever... I got a virtual rose from a friend... which I guess is better than nothing!

So I think Im gonna pass on the love to anyone who is feeling unloved at the moment...

Remember theres one kind of love that never fails... and thats incomparable to anything human.

And now for something completely different:

Im cooking steak tonight! MMMMMM MEAT!!

Yes I have a bonsai which has survived... quite miraculously I might add... since my birthday Nov 5th 2005. Wow. Its growing new shoots, and I feel like the most evil person alive having to rip them off in the pursuit of perfection in miniture.

Test as usual tommorow. Too much stuff to remember. I hate learning by rote. I so should be down the pub... but I got talking to my Alice and that was then end of that!

Im at the crossroads of my life. And Im feeling indecisive. Which is why I went to get 2lbs of Lychees from the market today. I'll probably be so ill from eating them, but thats ok.

Memoirs of a geisha isnt so bad... suprisingly. Its got plenty of faults, but its cute and colourful.

Im so sleepy... not going to be physically able to pull an all nighter tonight. alas alack.

I got offered someones last rolo... that made me feel really special. Rolo's are so old school! Need a boyfirend methinks. Its time. Just gotta find the right guy. I hope being picky isnt going to make me a spinster for the duration of my life... that would not be cool. I am Bridget Jones. (My church is right by where they filmed that film. Which is also seen in harry potter 3! Ohhhh the famousness...)
